NEW MEXICO SNEAK PEEK – ENVIRONMENTALISTS TARGET WILSON: The League of Conservation Voters and Defenders of Wildlife Action Committee will launch a $150,000 ad campaign in the Albuquerque media market today that attacks Republican Senate candidate Heather Wilson for voting to protect from lawsuits MTBE producers and oil companies that used MTBE. The 30-second spot shows an innocent-looking blonde girl named Emma wearing a backpack as she walks down the hallway toward a water fountain at school. “Emma knows not to talk to strangers,” a maternal-sounding narrator says softly. “She knows how to ‘just say no.’ But Emma doesn't know about MTBE. Or that the toxin may be in her drinking water. Emma doesn't know, but Heather Wilson did, when she voted to let oil companies off the hook. And took their money. Who's Wilson With?
